The short version

Your drawings stay in your browser and are never uploaded. The site itself uses Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which may set cookies and process usage data as described below.

What we store — and where

Simple Sketchpad is a client-side application. When you draw, the app saves your work to your browser's local storage so your drawing is restored the next time you visit. This data:

• is stored only on your device;
• can be cleared at any time with your browser's "clear site data" tools;
• is never transmitted to any server.

What we do not do

• No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and no profile is created.
• Advertising and analytics. The site uses Google Analytics to measure traffic and Google AdSense to show ads. These services may set cookies and process data such as your IP address, approximate location, and the pages you visit. They never receive the contents of your canvas.
• No sale of your drawings. We do not sell your drawings or share them with advertisers; the canvas stays on your device.

Cookies

Google Analytics and Google AdSense may set cookies to measure traffic and serve ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can control personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). Local storage used for autosave is not a cookie and stays on your device.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
